Biography

Véronique Bazier-Matte is an assistant professor of mathematics. Passionate about teaching and popularization, she first obtained a bachelor's degree in secondary education, before going on to earn a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics and a doctorate in mathematics. She then undertook a post-doctorate in the United States, as Assistant Research Professor, at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on clustered algebras, their generalizations and their links with other scientific fields. She is now very happy to be back in Quebec City, teaching both mathematics and teaching students, while continuing her research work.
